In 2023, Saudi Arabia made history by hosting the FIFA Club World Cup,
Ceremonies aimed at positioning Saudi Arabia as a major player in sports and entertainment and for FIFA, to produce an event for which the ceremony had to reflect the ambition of making the Club World Cup one of the world's greatest events : Super Bowl, Champions League finals.
The Opening Ceremony was spectacularly headlined by Swedish House Mafia and Busta Rhymes. Their performances, on two monumental triangular stages in the stands, along with 360° of video projection, lights, and SFX, electrified a record- breaking crowd of +50,000 spectators and 80M viewers.
