2023
The CHAN 2023 was an opportunity to create a link between all generations and all African nationalities: those who have participated in previous editions and those who, tomorrow, will carry the "torch of African sport", in a principle of transmission, respect and sharing of values so specific to the continent.
Our show was structured around an invitation for the spectators to travel through the Kasbah of Algiers, a symbol of Algerian culture and its memory, which alone embodies the chapters of the city's history.
This was the story that Algeria wished to tell and transmit to Africa during the time when it became the "African capital of football". To the rhythm of the drums, a kabuki in the form of a door rose in particular in front of the presidential stand to pay tribute to Algeria welcoming Africa.
Headline talents included Sookling, Dadju, Toto, Tikoubaouine and Merzaia Baraka along with the 190 Algerian Performers.
